Lightest Double Stroller
When you're searching for a light double-stroller that folds, the size and weight are important aspects to take into consideration. When you are not using it, select one that is simple to use and compact. This will allow it to put it in your car trunk, and also to navigate through airport gates and foreign roads.
The most lightweight strollers have a simple, easy fold that lets them stand on their own. This eases the burden on the body of the parent. Several also have a wide selection of seating options and can accommodate infant car seat carriers.
Kolcraft Cloud Plus
Designed for the family who are always on the move. Compact and light weight, it has an easy fold with one hand. All-terrain wheels with front suspension, as well as a multi-position reclining seats can will accommodate children as heavy as 50 pounds. The tray for parents and kids, large storage basket, and a 3-tiered canopy with windows that peek out at the sun provide maximum protection.
The Cloud earned one of the lowest scores on our tests of quality due to its flimsy design, hard plastic seats and a design that feels outdated. It's also more expensive than other lightweight strollers. This makes it a poor choice for those looking for an affordable option.
It's not the lightest stroller but it has enough features to be worth a look. The swiveling wheels make it easy to navigate it on flat surfaces. It can also leap over curbs without much effort. The Cloud's low handle is a disadvantage, however; it's nearly at knee height and not adjustable. It's uncomfortable to push with your legs hanging in the air and it's also not helping that it's not cushioned.
In our tests, we discovered that the Cloud was simple to set up and open. It's a bit more complicated to close, however. You must slide a slider, and then press a large white button for it to collapse. This can be a hassle, especially if you're juggling children while doing it.
The Cloud comes with a small but deep storage basket that could accommodate a medium-sized diaper bag. The basket is narrow and you may have to store something inside to reach the back. The Cloud includes a parent tray and a child tray, each with two cup holders. However, both are too small for larger bottles or cups.

Jeep Destination Ultralight SBS
Jeep Destination Ultralight SBS is an extremely lightweight, minimalist double stroller that's great to travel with. It's light at 18 pounds (lighter than some single strollers!) It folds flat, making it easy to carry and store. It also features independently reclining seats, large all-weather SPF 50 sun visors with large windows with peekaboos and under seat storage bags. The visors are adjustable to accommodate children of different heights. Plus, it has one-step linked parking brake and is Disney-size approved.
The swivel wheels of the Jeep are also awesome for maneuvering over bumps and uneven surfaces. This stroller does not accept car seats. Your child must be at minimum six months old and have a strong neck control in order to be able to ride in the front seat. It does have an attractive, three-panel sun canopy, however and each seat comes with its own snack tray, as well as parent cupholders.
Another stroller that is extremely light is the Valco Baby Snap Trend. It's heavier than the Kolcraft Cloud Plus at 23 lbs, but it's amazingly slim and narrow (26.5 inches wide!) It has a lot of exquisite details that make it ideal for travel. It folds up easily, very maneuverable, and can easily fit into the overhead compartments and the trunks of planes.
Similar to the Summer Infant 3D Pac CS+ Double and Mountain Buggy Nano Duo, the Joovy Kooper X2 is another tri-fold, ultralight double stroller. It's quite similar to the Jeep Destination Ultralight SBS, however, it does have some key distinctions. It's also slightly more expensive, but it has greater maneuverability and a larger sun canopy. It has a convenient carrying strap and can accommodate children who weigh up to 44 pounds in one seat.
Summer 3D Pac for Infants CS+
Summer Infant 3D Pac CS+ is a stroller that is light packed with features. It's not just light at 13 pounds but also has plenty of storage in the form of parent and child cup holders, a sippy-cup for the child pocket as well as a parent storage compartment and much more. It is also compatible with a child's chair and has a brake that flips that is easy to engage. It's designed to grow with your children from a baby stroller to an adult stroller by attaching the car seat adapters (sold separately) and is suitable for children 6 months old and up.
Another thing to take note of about this stroller is that it only has swivel wheels and doesn't come with locking features which means it won't be the best choice for rocky or sloping terrain. It's still a good option for families of all sizes, since it can be easily maneuvered on paved surfaces and other smooth surfaces.
This is among the lightest and compact double strollers that comes with full-size features. twin pushchair from birth folds easily with one hand and put away in the trunk or garage. It is also able to be used as a travel stroller and is compatible with all car seats without the need for additional adapters.
The Summer Infant 3D Pac CS+ is unique from other strollers for travel because it has two distinct seats that can each hold up to 100 lbs. The seats feature individual leg rests, as well as three-panel canopies that include flip-out sunvisors and peekaboo window.
The seats are cushioned to ensure your child's comfort. They also come with five-point safety harnesses which can be adjusted to three different height positions. Each comes with an infant cushion, which is ideal for babies. Parents will love the parent and child cup holders, the cell phone holder, as well as a large storage basket. The stroller is also available with the Yoyo+ Board which transforms it into a tandem.
Joovy X2 Kooper
The Kooper X2 double stroller is a great choice for parents who want an easy-to-use double that can carry two kids. Its sling-style seats are comfortable and provide a similar amount of headroom, which allows kids to sit side-by-side. Unlike many other side-by-side strollers that are available, the Kooper X2 offers a fully reclined seat that is an ideal spot to nap. Its recline feature is easy to use, but it doesn't really go flat. For taller children, there may be a leg hanging when in reclined mode. It also features a large canopy which we found to be superior at blocking out the sun than other strollers in our best double strollers review.
The stroller is lightweight enough to to maneuver through door frames. This was an important issue with other strollers we have tested. It folds up quickly, and its handlebars are close to the ground for easy transport. The only issue is the small storage space. When full of toys for kids, it feels cramped.

In our lab tests, we look at multiple factors in order to assess the ease of use of a double stroller. This includes the ease with which it is possible to fold and set up, how easy it is to adjust the safety harness and how to open and close brakes. We also lift and carry the strollers folded like they would be put into a trunk, and how to put in and remove a car seat if applicable. We also analyzed the durability and strength of each model, and whether it has a parent tray that can accommodate both child trays.
The Joovy Kooper X2 received the highest score in our Strollers Test Program due to its ease of use. It also earned the top score in our most recent guide to the best double strollers. Its user-friendly design features an easy-to-use, tilt-free recline with one hand with a huge canopy that rotates forward for shade, a ventilation mesh you can see through when it's tilted. There are also individual child trays that have built-in cup holders, zip-up parent pockets, and an extra-large storage basket.
